IMPARTIAL CAREER GUIDANCE ADVICE AND SUPPORT FOR BRITISH OVERSEAS TERRITORY STUDENTS AND PROFESSIONALS

Friends of the British Overseas Territories now provide a professional, high-quality careers and information service for students and professionals from the British Overseas Territories. This service is offered by our Chief Executive Philip Smith who is a qualified Career Guidance specialist.

All the above are tailor made Guidance and Support sessions for students and professionals from the British Overseas Territories. We are all too aware of the challenges that you face in the UK Jobs market – that is why we are here to help.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The first session (up to one hour) is free for British Overseas Territory Students . The full and transparent fee structure is listed here;

Please also state the fact if you are a student from the Overseas Territories.

It will be helpful if you can include a copy of your most up to date C.V. and a brief statement as to what Career Guidance Support you are seeking.

Appointments are available most Tuesdays at 5.30, 6.15 and 7.00pm. Please indicate your preference date and time. The meeting location is within central London (SW1Y). Full appointment details will be confirmed prior to the meeting.

Please note that a typical Career Guidance session usually takes place for around 60 minutes.

WHO WILL BE PROVIDING YOU WITH CAREER GUIDANCE?

Your Careers Adviser is Philip Smith who is fully qualified. Philip also serves as the Chief Executive of Friends of the British Overseas Territories. He holds extensive experience of Careers Guidance having worked within Leeds City College where he guided students applying for University and entering the world of work. Philip is familiar with the particular challenges faced by British Overseas Territory Students and Young Professionals. The Guidance that you will receive will reflect this experience.
